In celebration of Buddhas Birthday May 14, the most beautiful place to visit in Seoul until May 15 (Sunday) will be the display of traditional lanterns all along the Cheonggye Stream in downtown Seoul. The lanterns light up in the evening and you can see hundreds of beautiful lanterns in the shape of people, animals, artifacts and so on. This is a must visit event if you are in Seoul. If you have more time also go see Jogye Temple not far away, over by Jonggak Subway Station.
