N Seoul Tower

Seoul

Landmarks

Try getting there early, and avoid Sunday afternoon as it gets really crowded, many locals also visit the tower and observation deck, during the weekend. We recommend taking the bus there and then walking down - it's a beautiful walk. Take the green bus 03, 'Namsan Tour' (8am - 11pm/10min intervals)

N Seoul Tower is the most visited tourist attraction in Seoul close to Myeongdong and Itaewon. Upon it, flourishes what Seoulites call 'The Locks of Love'. Couples hang a lock with a note as a symbol of their love for each other. It's located on Namsan Mountain offering great panoramic views of the city and stands as a symbol of Seoul since it first opened to the public in 1980. The tower has not only been given a new look, but also a new name following a complete makeover.

It is now a popular cultural space with various performances, movies, exhibitions as well as upscale restaurants and snack bars. Topping the list of best sites according to tourists, N Seoul Tower draws an insanely large number of visitors every day.

At the base of N Seoul Tower visitors can find the Media Zone, a Pavilion Experience Hall, exhibition rooms, and performance halls. Visitors are encouraged to try the N Grill western-style restaurant revolving restaurant (one rotation every 48 minutes) and the Sky Restroom (an artfully decorated space). Both offer breathtaking views of the cityscape.
