We kick off the night the way every great Korean evening begins: with a classic K-BBQ feast. As we grill together, your local host will give you a little more details about what to expect. You’ll learn how this area transformed from a student hub into the epicenter of Korea’s underground sound. It’s the perfect time to break the ice, swap travel stories, and get to know your fellow music lovers.
Once we’ve fueled up, we’ll head to one of the neighborhood’s iconic live music venues. Forget the polished K-pop you see on TV—this is where you’ll find the real deal. From gritty rock and soulful indie to experimental jazz, you’ll experience the high-energy performances that give Hongdae its legendary reputation.
