Event Details

The team are proud to announce the newly named event we've all been waiting for! Make some noise for, 'Pasifika Connect 2016'. We know you had a great time last year, and we're keen to make the next even better! Capitalising on the success of our very first celebration of Pasifika in Korea, we've decided its about time for round two! There'll be lots of cultural performances and entertainment on the night, as well as prizes and raffles. Our Pasifika inspired menu, with cocktails to boot, is guaranteed to satisfy all those island food hankerings you've been having and more. So, put on your 'ei, dust off that lavalava, and get those hips to JR's Bar in Itaewon, Seoul in September. Lets celebrate and make it another memorable night!

Entry Fee: 10,000krw charity donations kindly accepted at the door.

More about us:

Pasifika Connect 2016 is a nonprofit organization, formed and run since 2015 (Poly Connect Korea) by volunteers with two explicit goals in mind:

● To create an opportunity for the Pacific Islands community based in Korea to come together to celebrate our unique cultures. This event allows us to establish a Pacific Islands’ network in a country far from home.

● To enable our culture to become a platform to give back to our local community. This opportunity allows us to fundraise and contribute to charitable organizations.

This year we're committing our efforts to two charities.

The first is the Angel House Orphanage, a non-profit organization for disabled adults and children. The second is called the Oak Tree Project, who focus on the self sustainable future of orphans, by providing them with scholarships and mentors for life.
