Bukchon Hanok Village

Bukchon Hanok Villageは、ソウル中心部の北部に位置し、Anguk駅に近い伝統的なハノク住宅地です。サムチョンドンの近くに位置しています。
ここは、伝統的な木造ハノク建築が多く見られることで特徴付けられています。以前は国中に広がっていましたが、韓国の経済革命中にほとんどが取り壊され、15階建てのアパートメントが立ち並ぶようになりました。
しかし、市議会はこの地域の一部を取り壊しに選ばずに残しました。これは、大統領府に近いことへの尊敬から、そしてブックチョン地元住民による抗議運動によるものです。その結果、このエリアでは静かで丘に囲まれた道路沿いで何度も歩くことができ、小さなレストランやティールーム、漫画本屋が軒を連ね、子どもたちがミニアーケードマシンで遊んでいる光景が見られます。
一部の建物はゲストハウスに改築されています。地元当局はこの地域に関する素晴らしい冊子を制作しており、アングック地下鉄駅から途中にある観光ブースの一つから入手することができます。
