ハン川の南に位置するオリンピックパークは、古代百済時代の遺跡が現代の最先端スポーツ競技場、環境に配慮した森林、広々とした芝生のフィールドと共存する印象的なレジャー施設です。
全体で145ヘクタールを占めるオリンピックパークには、1988年のソウルオリンピックの遺産を受け継いでおり、国内最大のスポーツアリーナを含むだけでなく、ソウル市民がリラックスしてくつろぐ場所となっています。
建築上の見どころには、駐車場とマウンチョントソウン城塞があります。城塞は百済時代の水濠式要塞で、公園の建設と同時に発掘と修復が行われました。他にも、オリンピックテーマの博物館にはインタラクティブなスポーツ体験ホールが完備されており、世界平和の門（写真）- 鉄筋コンクリートでできた24m高の翼を持つ塗装された記念碑的芸術作品、壮観な彫刻庭園、さまざまな芸術が施された庭園、屋外パフォーマンスステージ、トレイルがあります。
