After the tremendous success of Mix and Malt, ambitious owner Wendell Louie embarked on an even bigger project in 2017 by launching arguably Korea’s best cocktail bar – Pussyfoot saloon. As one descends down the stairs of one of most gorgeous spaces in the posh Hannam-dong area, you feel as if you might have stepped into a Parisian aristocrat’s private cocktail bar. As you enter the ground floor bar, the first class vintage train car theme transports you to a world of pure class and excellence. Take a seat on one of the velvet chairs and prepare yourself for a smooth ride or for bigger groups, move to the second floor, where stylish booth seats will satisfy even the queen.

The Pussyfoot Saloon (pussyfoot being another name for a railway cop) is honestly an aesthetic masterpiece and has done well to put the city’s cocktail scene on full display to the world. The menu lists all the classics; like the Old Fashioned, Manhattan and Negroni to name a few. They also host an international bartender every month in order to keep with the traveling theme and also maintain a unique menu. For their first two weeks, the host bartender will create a special menu inspired by their home country and then do a completely new menu for the last two weeks.

For those looking to fill their tummies with more than just fantastic drinks, Pussyfoot have also added food to the menu. It has to be said that a visit to Pussyfoot Saloon is more than just about having a cocktail; it’s a complete experience, one that will certainly leave you in awe.

Pussyfoot is open every day from 6pm until 3am and it would be wise to call ahead of time, or else the conductor might not let you board.
