Description

See a different side of Seoul through the people who live its stories. Seoul After Dark is an intimate small-group story night where travelers meet someone they would rarely have the chance to sit down with during an ordinary trip to Korea. Each edition features one storyteller and one theme. Depending on the date, you might meet a former K-pop trainee, a North Korean defector, a longtime Seoul resident, a market family member, or an international resident who made Korea home. Begin with a local welcome drink and meet your host and fellow guests. Tonight's storyteller will introduce their story before your host guides a deeper live conversation, adding cultural context and interpretation when needed. Then the room opens for questions, giving you the chance to ask what you are genuinely curious about. The final part of the evening is intentionally informal. Stay for a drink, talk with the storyteller when appropriate, and meet other travelers around the table. This is not a formal lecture or scripted performance. It is a small, human conversation designed to help you leave Seoul understanding a little more about the people behind the city.
