Description
Naksan park : Here's one of the best view points of Seoul!
Sewoon Sang-ga(arcade) : A representative case of the urban regeneration project. Being located at the center of Hanseong(old name of Seoul), this area has been through extreme ups and downs. This special building has a very special atmosphere with many old electronic shops and engineers inside that are endangered now.
Cheonggyecheon : Let's walk along this stream like locals! It's not only a 10km long stream but also one of the historic sites that has a unique story.
Gwangjang market : Enjoy many kinds of traditional&street food in this old market and choose your lunch too! This place is surely the most popular traditional market.
Gyeongbokgung : The oldest and biggest royal palace during the Joseon Dynasty containing a lot of traditional asian philosophies and concepts architecturewise. Stories of early and late Joseon also come along. At the entrance, we see the ceremony of royal guard changing at 10AM and you can take pictures with them after the event. Participation with your Hanbok on is possible if you're already dressed by the time we meet.
Gwanghwamun Square : Walk along the most important road of Joseon! Now, this place became a symbol of democracy in Korea. Bonus! We'll enjoy the view on a rooftop and piano busking of the most famous Korean folk song. You can also participate in the busking!
Jogyesa : One of the important temples in Korea. Their pagada, trees, and the main building Daewoongjeon... each of them has interesting stories.
Insadong : With galleries of traditional arts, shops of Korean antique items and stationaries for calligraphy, this street does have its unique atmosphere. Malls with their distinctive designs like Ssamjigil and Annyeong Insadong are always vibrant.
