Itinerary
Pickup & Drop-off
Pickup and drop-off are available from hotels and Airbnbs throughout Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi Province. Pickup is also available from Incheon International Airport and Incheon cruise terminals. Your guide will contact you in advance to confirm the pickup location and time.
Your guide, Luke Shin, is a retired Republic of Korea Air Force fighter pilot who served for over 20 years, including as an F-15K pilot and squadron commander. He will share firsthand perspectives on Korea’s modern history, the Korean War, the division of the peninsula, and national security.
1. Imjingak Park (Approx. 40 minutes)
Visit Imjingak Park, a symbolic place representing hope for peace and reunification. Learn about the Korean War, the division of Korea, and the significance of the monuments. As a former fighter pilot, Luke will also share his perspective on the security situation surrounding the Korean Peninsula.
2. The Third Infiltration Tunnel (Approx. 60 minutes)
Walk through the Third Infiltration Tunnel, secretly built by North Korea and discovered in 1978. Learn about its history and the military tensions that continue to shape the Korean Peninsula.
3. Dora Observatory (Approx. 30 minutes)
Enjoy panoramic views toward North Korea through binoculars. Depending on visibility, you may see Kaesong and the surrounding border area. Luke will explain the geography, military environment, and history of the DMZ.
4. Unification Village (Approx. 15 minutes)
Learn about life near the DMZ and the unique circumstances of communities living close to the border.
5. Return from the DMZ
