Description
This is a small-group culinary experience (1–6 guests), not a set restaurant reservation — your guide stays with you for the entire lunch and tea ceremony, explaining the philosophy behind each dish as it arrives.
We begin at a Seoul restaurant recognized by Michelin with a Bib Gourmand eight times since 2018 — a distinction Michelin reserves for exceptional, chef-driven cooking at accessible prices, distinct from the tasting-menu fine dining most visitors associate with the Michelin name. Expect a multi-course seasonal set menu (soup, salad, rice, and seasonal sides).
From the restaurant, we walk to a traditional tea house in Insadong, one of Seoul's oldest cultural districts. Over tea, your guide connects what you just ate to the same threads of Korean philosophy and history — so the meal and the tea ceremony read as one continuous story, not two separate stops.
Because groups are capped at 6, this stays a conversation, not a lecture — you can ask your guide anything, from the ingredients on your plate to how Korean food culture has changed over the past century.
