Description
Step into a calm and welcoming studio in Yeonnam-dong and discover the art of Bojagi, Korea’s traditional fabric wrapping. In this hands-on workshop, you will learn how Bojagi combines beauty, practicality, and care in everyday life.
The experience begins with a short introduction to the history and meaning of Bojagi, from its traditional use in Korea to its connection with thoughtful and sustainable wrapping. You will also learn about Korean knots and their balanced forms, created from a single cord with symmetry and intention.
In a small-group setting, you will be guided step by step through the wrapping process. You can choose your favorite Bojagi cloth and norigae to create a piece that reflects your own style. As you work, you will learn traditional wrapping and knotting techniques in a calm and supportive atmosphere.
At the end of the class, you will take home your finished Bojagi piece as a special handmade Korean souvenir. You will also receive a certificate of completion with your name written in Hangul, making the experience even more personal and memorable.
Light traditional refreshments are served during the workshop, and the studio offers a beautiful setting to enjoy the process and take photos of your finished work. This is a meaningful experience for travelers looking for a quiet and memorable way to connect with Korean culture.
