Description

Explore Korean culture in a hands-on way at OAVO Seoul Lounge in Hongdae, where hanbok, crafts, and self-guided photo time come together in one experience. OAVO K-Culture Play is designed for travelers who want more than a quick look at Korean cultural elements. Instead of simply viewing traditional items, you can wear them, make them, and leave with both photos and a handmade souvenir from your time in Seoul. Depending on your schedule and interests, choose between a light package or a fuller experience with extra activities. The light package includes wearing 1 set of royal-style hanbok inside the venue, using the indoor photo zone, and making 1 norigae DIY accessory. After choosing from the hanbok available on site, you can change into your outfit and take photos using your own phone or camera. You will then continue to the craft activity, where you will make a norigae using the materials provided. The completed norigae can be taken home as a keepsake from your trip. The core program is set at 60 minutes, though changing time, photo-taking pace, and craft progress may extend the experience by around 15 minutes. The full package includes everything in the light package, with the addition of dalgona making and wish talisman writing. During the dalgona activity, you will make a traditional Korean sugar candy yourself. In the wish talisman activity, you will write down a personal wish or message of encouragement on a single sheet as part of a cultural craft activity. This is not a personal tarot consultation or a religious ritual. The core program is set at 90 minutes, though on-site flow and participation pace may extend the experience by up to 30 minutes. Throughout the experience, the on-site team at OAVO Seoul Lounge will guide the activities and provide the prepared clothing and materials. Hanbok is provided as 1 outfit per person for use inside the venue only and must be returned after the session. Professional photography, photo editing, hair styling, and makeup services are not included, as guests take their own pictures in the photo zone.
