Description
A special experience you can only have in Korea! Create the perfect keepsake to remember your trip with Seoul’s only Hangul silver jewelry-making workshop—and take home a one-of-a-kind souvenir from your visit to Korea. With the guidance of a skilled instructor, design and craft a one-of-a-kind piece that captures the essence of your visit to Korea.
Using silver consonant and vowel units, you can create a unique piece of jewelry featuring your favorite word or name. Begin by choosing a word or name that holds special meaning for you, such as your own name, a loved one's name, or a word you want to remember. Select the type of jewelry you want to create, whether it's a necklace, earrings, bracelet, keychain, or brooch.
Once you've decided on your design, learn the art of silver soldering, a skilled metalworking technique, to fix each consonant and vowel in place. You can also choose your preferred font style—either Gothic or handwritten. Clean and polish the silver surface to complete your unique piece. Don’t worry if you don’t have any experience—an expert instructor will guide you step by step throughout the workshop.!
Since the studio uses Hangul letter types handcrafted in sterling silver, these pieces can’t be found anywhere on the market. The Hangul jewelry you create in the workshop will be a one-of-a-kind personal creation—the perfect keepsake to remember your trip to Korea.
The studio is conveniently located near Gwanghwamun and City Hall, so after the experience you can take a walk around nearby palaces or along Cheonggyecheon Stream.
