Description
Most DMZ-area tours pack 30–40 people onto a bus and rush you through checkpoints. This one doesn't.
We keep our groups small [max 13] so your guide can actually answer your questions instead of just herding the group — the same guides our travelers describe by name in their reviews, not 'the tour company.'
Start at Aegibong Peace Observatory, where you'll see North Korea across the water from a quiet hilltop — no long security lines, no shouting through a megaphone. Then head into Ganghwa Island, home to over 5,000 years of Korean history: the Ganghwa Dolmen (UNESCO World Heritage), Jeondeungsa Temple, one of Korea's oldest active temples, and a stop at Joyangbangik Café, a beautifully restored former textile factory.
For a change of pace, ride the Ganghwa Luge — a 2.4km downhill gravity track with sweeping coastal views. It's included in your ticket, not something you pay extra for on the day.
