Description

You're invited to a day at a Seoul kitchen—not just a cooking class, but a story you're welcomed into. Today's story: a countryside kitchen, a heavy radish harvest, and neighbors who came from far to help. This is our way of saying thank you — a day of cooking together, sharing a table, and a little rice wine. The meal unfolds in three courses, each paired with its own beverage. First, jeon (Korean pancakes) we pan-fry together, served with makgeolli. Then a full table of suyuk (boiled pork) and makguksu (cold buckwheat noodles) with radish kimchi. And finally, dessert. Some stories I'll tell you as we cook. Others you'll only catch if you're listening closely. I've always loved sharing things with people. That love led me to study culinary arts in Korea, then train at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris. My career took me through hotel kitchens and menu development. But I've always loved stories just as much — for over a decade, I've stepped onto stage with an amateur theater troupe. Here, I bring both together, one scene at a time. This is our first scene, The Day, Just Right. BUEOK runs as a seasonal series, so each visit brings a new story to discover. Groups are kept to just 6 guests, for a table that feels like your own.
