Shhh, we'll let you in on a sweet secret. Lilac Daphne House is inside Sinsegae Dept. Store in Gangnam. It serves perhaps the best read-bean ice dessert in Seoul and it is very very good. For those of you who don't know what adzuki-bean ice dessert is, you'll have to try for yourself to really find out. Koreans call it Patbingsu and it is ice flakes with sweet adzuki beans topped with a few rice cakes. Doesn't sound like much, but take a look at the pictures and you'll get an idea of why Koreans love their Patbingsu.
