Okawa Sushi brings association with the famous Sukiyabashi Jiro in Tokyo. Although probably not at the same level of quality, much like Sukiyabashi Jiro's inauspicious location in a Tokyo subway station - Okawa Sushi is tucked away in the basement of an unassuming building right next to Gwanghwamun Station in downtown Seoul. Indeed, there is nothing assuming about the sushi at Okawa and it is great value for money.
Lunch is set at 30,000 won and dinner at 40,000 won and the Okawa sushi course costs 50,000 won. Very reasonable considering you can easily pay more than double that for a sushi course in Seoul.
They also do take out. We highly recommend making reservations.
