A top five restaurant in the Miele Guide, cooperation with KLM Royal Dutch Airline for their Korean meals, a favorite business dining place for expat CEO's and Korean business men alike, and a must go to place for anniversaries and other important birthdays. Even the Queen of Denmark has eaten here. Yongsusan has a long list of fans and a lot of it comes down to the owner Youn Young Kim a sophisticated and widely travelled lady with great passion for food and eye for detail.
Yongsusan at Seoul Finance Center is beautifully decorated with folklore and other charming Korean identity interior details. It is recognized as one of the top fine dining restaurants in the country, but it doesn't mean that it will set you back 300$ a person. Not at all. You can try a lunch menu for as little as 38,000 KRW and dinner menus start at 47,000 KRW, and there are a variety of a la carte options as well.
Our favourite on the menu was the 'Grilled White Tuna in Asian Pear' and Red Pepper Sauce', succulent and the sauce was rich and full of flavour. 'The Bibimbap' was another favourite, but since we didn't have a chance to try all the items on the menu, we will definitely be coming back for more.
