Mouthwatering comfort food at Hotel Cappucino's Hot Eatsue

Restaurant Hot Eatsue inside the trendy Hotel Cappucino was originally opened as an Asian street food restaurant. And you can still see the casual style familiar dishes on the menu, but the place has recently teamed up with 2 star Michelin chef Lee Jong-guk from Gotgan in Seoul. The collaboration is focused on home-cooked meals. This means that you can now try some of the home style meals that Chef Lee would serve, if he were inviting guests to his house. Some of the dishes for example are ranging from Jack mackerel tomato stew to curry soup and layered udon to mention a few. 

Unlike his 2 star Michelin restaurant, the food at Hot Eatsue is affordable and comfortable with prices ranging from 10,000 - 30,000 KRW. Chef Lee will soon be introducing a new menu in May which is under development and by the end of this year there will be several differently themed menus created by Lee launched one after another. 

The restaurant is located on the 17FL in Hotel Cappucino. With subway it is Eonju Station, Line 9, Exit 1 and then 3 minutes' walk toward Sinnonhyeon Station.

Go there for the food and the scenic view overlooking Gangnam. Reservation recommended. 

Oh and one funny thing. In Korean the restaurant's name is spelled Hot Issue, But romanized to English we guess they wanted to add the Eat in there.
