Seoul Museum of Art (SeMA)

Seoul Museum of Art (SeMA), located in the heart of Seoul, City Hall is an art museum that represents Seoul. The museum is a 'post-museum' for contemporary Korean art as well as renowned artists. It hosts top-notch exhibitions that are always worth a visit. In its own words it a: 'post-conventional, post-institutional art museum that comes after the time of neoliberalism'.

The Seoul Museum of Art's collection focuses on emerging, contemporary talent as well as the work of renowned artists, and its rotating exhibits have featured works from an eclectic range of painters including Van Gogh, Monet and Picasso.

SeMA also sponsors an educational outreach program that features art appreciation classes and instruction for aspiring artists. In addition to the museum's galleries, the building has a lecture auditorium and an art reference library open to the public.

Open Hours: Weekdays 10am - 8pm. Weekends 10am - 6pm.
