Chef Min-ji presents modern Korean dishes in a warm, sophisticated setting at her restaurant near Maison Hermes in Dosan Park in Apgujeong, Sinsa-dong. Min-ji is a renowed chef in Korea, running her own cooking show on Korean TV, called 'Homemade Cook by Kim Min-ji'.
Pick your favourite: beef, pork, chicken or seafood and choose among the many dishes. You can always go for the set menu which exemplifies the flavours and plating art of the restaurant. Dinner set menus start from under 30,000 KRW a person! The menu is in English and the staff, including Min-ji herself are always ready to help you choose from the menu.
Min's Kitchen is a highly unique dining experience where modern Korean food meets some of the best wines in the world. Contrary to belief, Korean cuisine is not dominantly bold and spicy flavours but more often has well balanced, delicate and even subtle flavour profiles.
We recommend the 'steamed pork belly' with 'aged kimchi', pair this with a wine of your choice and you've got yourself a meal made in heaven! Also try the 'bean sprout with chilled vegetables' appetizer or the 'beef salad', 'grilled king prawns', which is the modern take on soy crab - a must try while in Korea!
